Please people, dispose of your used fishing lines properly. If you snag up, make an effort to retrieve your bait or break off as little amount of line as possible. While fishing pool 4 the last 2 times, I snagged 4 lines that were previously snagged by another angler, and recovered jigs (3/4 had jig with K grub attached). These lines had no less than 40 feet each of fishing line attached. I feel that there is no excuse for breaking off this much line and leaving it in the river. This is a hazard for fish, waterfowl and other aquatic wildlife. Not to mention what it could do to your lower unit if it got into your prop seal.

I fish crankbaits alot and many of my snags are from manmade items, most of which is discarded fishing line.
