Just looking for some different opinions on which weather radars anyone uses online. I personally use the one on WCCO but I cant seem to get a good feel for whats coming tomorrow or the next day from that one.

weather undergound for me. I think the best feature they have is the storm tracker. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve huddled inside the baitshop at Everts, watching storm tracker to know when it would be safe to hit the river again.

I use Weather Underground as well. Their snow amount forecasts seem to be a bit more accurate than most.

weatherunderground.com & windsurf.com are the 2 best weather and wind info barr none. . Use these 2 sites whether going to Lake Michigan, Mille Lac or Devils Lake. Very Accurate.

Weather underground is pretty solid and faster than most, weather.com is too slow and behind when you got a fast moving storm, NOAA’s site is just as fast, but I like the feel of WU.

Accuweather.com is very good for the hour by hour forecast during the day. Used it all the time when I run a lawn service and most the time it was right on.

Ill have to say Intellicast would be my first choice of any of them with accuweather coming in second, both user friendly when you need a radar right now! Thanks for sharing

I use a private WIS DOT site for most of the weather, but the best public site hands down is Weather Underground….probably more accurate than the DOT site for radar loops….

Compare the refresh rate between intellicast and wunderground, intellicast is often 20-30 minutes old whereas wunderground is right on time. I switched this year and love wunderground!

And isn’t it nice that the new Lowrance HDS units have a weather service available? Too bad I got mine before I knew that!!
