Do you fish those much in the winter? I got to play with some lakers through the ice for the first time last season and suffice it to say… I’m hooked!

I have not but Ihave always wanted too,My buddy goes up to Pine and gets them though.

They’re definitely worth the trip in my opinion. I’ve never fished them in the BWCA but I would imagine that would add even more fun to the experience.

FYI…Still snowing here in Becker, MN. Still 32 here, too. Got about 4″ of wet stuff with a little rain mixed in. Not good for the ice.

37 degrees and light, light drizzle and absolutely zero wind. I wish I was out in the boat today as the conditions just could not be better.

It hit us hard down here too. It’s 3 degrees right now, THREE. 31 mph to add to it, windchill is -18. I ain’t goin outside today for nothin!! We don’t really have much precip, but just bitter cold. I really hate it when it’s like this.

I think it was Tuck that told me everyone in Huskerland was soft. Yep, I’m sure it was him.

She’s blowing out now! Wow! And the snow just started. It is going to be a cold-cold night tonight!

I couldn’t even point to Huskerland on a map!

All I know is that BK told me it was the doormat for Iowa.

I left home for the ice at 7:30 this morning, truck read 37 degrees. We came home at 3 and truck read -4. Had a fair bite just nothing worth keeping.

Is is still blowing snow a little now but is 12 here now!! BBRRR!!

From 3 to 4pm the temps went from 32 to 19 hee in Ham Lake. Im ready for it.

Weird, over in between Albertville and Monti, we didn’t get any snow to speak of. We got wind and cold though.

I want to do some whining…I volunteered to work overtime until 10pm and then I start my regular hours at 7:30am tomorrow. Its a 30 minute drive both ways, but I bet its gonna be more tonight and tomorrow.
