White Birch timeshare tour..ice show “drawing”??

We entered a “drawing” while at the ice show to win a, I think polaris ranger. Just got a phone call from White Birch Resort in breezy point… “You’ve won the following gifts” 90 minute tour and walk away with $50 gas card, 4 hansel prints, 2 for 1 airfair, $30 gift certificate and one of the three… explorer, TV, or 3 night 2 day stay.

They sure sell it on the phone!! Make it sound great! Anyone else get this call or been to one of these “tours”. I find it funny that the drawing was for a Ranger, but the sell is for a timeshare.

I got a bunch offers from stuff I signed up for last winter at one of the shows. Some of them wanted a deposit to make sure we come there.

I didn’t take them up on any of them. I also think they sold my cell #.

I signed up for the ranger also, and was the only drawing I entered, and they keep calling me and my wife wanting to sell us a trip to the Bahamas or Vegas.

You entered a drawing for a ranger! the drawing is legit! the reason is to gather names for contacts! the prizes they say you won is real! you will get them as long as you go to there 90 min tour! you are not obligated to buy anything but i will warn you these people that put them on are fairly pushy! if your thinking maybe buying a time share then by all means go! if your wanting the free prizes go but remember these people are really tricky in making you think you want something you dont! they will make it all sound so good! and it may be for the right people! ive been to a couple! 1 me and the wife got a really nice steak dinner and a free 40″ flat screen TV just for sitting threw there 1 hour sales pitch! we ate are food and sat and listen and it took a little doing to just leave but we got voucher for the TV and left!

for one other one we went to we got air fair and 3 nights in cancun for sitting threw there sales pitch!

anytime they call me i decide weather to go depending on if there free stuff is worth the hastle!

if you go good luck! just be persistent on not buying anything from them unless its something you want and will actually use!

We’re not going…not a good enough deal. More than likely,(guaranteed) we’d get the 3 day 2 night free stay rather than the TV or Ranger. We’re already REI members, so we could have a 3 night stay for $100 at that resort anytime we wanted anyway! The gas card would pay for our gas, woopdedoo. The 2 for 1 airfair I’m sure has all sorts of hoops to jump through, probably have to travel wed. only and probably only to places we’ve been already. Fact is we can probably get cheaper airfair online. The 4 Jim Hansel prints would be cool, but that’s the only gift worth anything….long drive for a couple prints. Not to mention the weather today is supposed to get nasty up there!

Kind of funny…right before the call came we were watching “King of Queens”…the episode…the timeshare trip for a free TV at the ski resort! Spence and Danny play the gay couple !!
