May help me also. i have a Jiffy model 30 auger that has been cold blooded for the last 20 yr’s. It starts fine and runs well as long as you keep hitting the priming bulb. Is there something i can put in the fuel to clean out the needle and seats, jets? I should upgrade to a newer and one that weighs much less, but this has been as faithful as my dog.

Used this place twice. (Rider mower) Real happy with the service and price both times.

Seafoam and run it in every tank my Mag III was a POS when I first got it it would stop running after about 20 seconds and then took 2-3 minutes of pulling to get it going .
So I mixed 1/2 can of Seafoam to a gallon of gas + oil
after the second tank it started on the first or second pull every time It gets abused every year and as long as I run 4 oz of Seafoam to a gallon it’s all good

Thanks for your insight. Mine starts real good but won’t stay running when drilling holes unless i bump the priming bulb. Seafoam will help that?

also change the plug and make sure it’s gaped correctly.
it should be done every year anyway

the Seafoam and new plug will probably fix it, get it running and keep it going for a while to let the Seafoam do it’s job, you may have to pump the primer for a while.
the carb is probably gummed up from the crappy gas that they sell now.
