    Hi all, I came across this message board while surfing the net and decided to join because I love to learn about fishing and helping others when I can. My name is Rob and I look forward to sharing what I know and learning from everyone on this board. My favorite fish to catch is Walleye followed closely by both Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass.

    Welcome Rob You’ll learn lots of good info from the guys on this site. I’m sorry to hear you like to catch green carp though.

    don’t listen to them walleye guys, they are just jelous because you can enjoy catching “other” fish than just walleyes.

    Hi, no ice yet. We probably won’t see any ice till early Jan, if then. Last year it wasn’t really safe to go on the ice till the middle of Feb.

    If I had to choose between the two teams I would have to say the Packers but really I am a Bears fan. I am from Pembroke on the Eastern part of Ontario that borders with Quebec. The waters I fish the most is the Ottawa river. The fishing is ok here with the occassional Walleye over 4 lbs. Bass can grow large here. I have caught Smallmouth over 5 lbs and have seen a couple Largemouth over 10 lbs.
