Rat, are you sure you don’t work for DirectTV? You sure are in love with them. 
It was a toss up for me but I just went to the Dish because of their HD only package. Why bother with all of those other channels if you only want HD, and it is dirt cheap! I’m saving almost $50 a month over Charter. The only complaint I have so far is sometimes when I am using the DVR to watch sports, the recording gets a little choppy for about 10 seconds and then goes back to normal?? Either Dish is better than cable.
