I just finished reading Rootski’s battle on the river from yesterday. Got me thinking. I’m not a huge fan of winter, in fact every year that goes by I like winter less and less. I need something to pass the time.

IDO has some fabulous story tellers and writers. Some of the reports are really a good read along with being informational. How about somebody starts a thread for this winter. It can be fiction or non-fiction (that’s true or false for you Wisconsin guy’s )it can be fishing or hunting related or just a story about most anything.Put your talents to work and give guy’s like me a way to pass the winter. I’m sure the resort owners and the guides could write some really interesting and entertaining stories about customers they have had.

Lets keep it clean and have a little fun this winter.

What do you guy’s think? Maybe we can even make some sort of contest. Registered users vote on the best story, winner gets a prize?

    Hi Brian,

    Good idea.

Before any ‘scony’ folks see this could you flip the true and false. Fiction=false Non-fiction=true.

    Thanks from a fellow Minnesotan.

Can the the Wisconsin folk even read enough to be able to read this post?!

I mean I know they can read things like BEER and BRAT But I’m pretty sure it’s just years of associating the letters B-E-E-R, and B-R-A-T to what you actually get when you see that word, more than it is actual reading.

Did somebody say they have brats? Where? I’m in!

I like the story idea as well. When I get some time I’ll sit down and try my hand at it. I look forward to seeing everyone’s contributions.
