Got the idea from an earlier IDO forum ad. Bought a Sendec Tachometer for my outboard. 40 hp Honda. This is a 3 cylinder motor. Just installed today, per instructions wrap the wire around a spark plug wire and run the wire to the monitor. It seems to work as described except it seems to be reading 1/2. I think my rpm range is from 800 to 5200, but my sendec reads from 400 to 2600. Do I need to wrap the sensor wire around two spark plug wires. Anyone know how these work? Thanks Big Jon
