What is Gardenhire thinking with Every Day Loser Eddie. This guys ERA right now with the Twins is terrible. Please don’t play him again, ever. I’d rather see the regular guys lose it than Eddie.

The Twins had a great come back last night being down 8-1 and then went ahead 9-8, only to have a guy who was 0-8 lifetime against Eddie (no doubt back when he was decent) clobber a homer.

The Twin needed this win bad.

I officially put a fork in them last night. I’m not watching anymore baseball til the world series. Makes you sick to think how we are handing this division to the sox. Stayed up past my bedtime for that, not fooling me again.

All the losses starting with the west coast swing have really hurt. Had they played desent ball they would be up 4 or 5 on the hated Whities.

As I posted this spring my main concern was the bullpen being overworked. Seems to have come true.

Just remember, we all would have jumped for joy if last April someone said we would be within 3 games of the lead on Sept. 17th.

If the Rays didn’t do what they are doing Gardy would be manager of the year in the American league.

I agree. I picked them for 15 under .500 so I shouldn’t complain. Just another year being a MN sports fan.

A while ago I got railed on because I said I didn’t have faith in Nathan.

I almost puked in my coffee when I saw Eddie come back.

We are reaping what we have sewn now. I love Gardy…but sometimes you can just see the trainwreck coming.

    Yep…pick your poison.

The bullpen is terrible, doesn’t matter who you put in, one of them is going to blow it! Sucks to watch the starters throw a great game, be ahead or tied, soon as they’re pulled you know what’s about to happen. If we had a bullpen we’d be up many games. Season isn’t over yet but we have to hope we’re within 3 when the sox come next week.

Not sure if anyone else has noticed but the team was playing lots better before punto and cuddy came back. I thought Harris and beusher were doing great. now that they are out of the line up most of the time the team has gone down hill.

The answer??? It could/should have been Chad Bradford ! Why did we not pursue this guy when he was available. He’s exactly what we needed and we blew our chance!

15 walks, 56 hits in only 53 innings. He really is no better then what we have.

In addition I think he is one of those knuckle scrappers that throw below side arm. Mostly those pitches come in flat and even the breaking balls either bounce in the dirt or just break sideways. He would be different then what we have but would only be a specialist working 1/3 of an inning at a time.

Chris Rea – Fool (If you think it’s over)

PA is going with this track today for their “summer of stun” campaign.

Check out that video! I think Tuckner’s in there somewhere. And is that Marshall Faulk on the guitar?

    Go Twins!

Well I’m off to the Dome in a couple of hours! Last hurrah for the Twinkies. 2.5 back with six to play. Will need 5 of 6 to have a chance, it might take all six though.

    Go Twins!

Hope you have a good time and better yet hope the twins can pull out 2 of the 3 games. Last 12 games at the dome against the sox I believe there 9-3. Go twins!!!

I’m torn if I’m even gonna watch. I of course want them to win, but I tend to let my expectations exceed reality.

That one was ‘easy on the eyes’ last night. Baker pitched well and the offense played both small ball and long ball.

Tonight’s another huge game as a win tonight and the heat is seriously on.

    Go Twins!

Anyone else nervous right now? 3-2 lead and Mirajes is in. Thome, Konerko, and Griffey.

Yikes. I’m pacing like a nervous dog.

Not near as nervous as knowing Nathan is coming in!

Watch him give up the game.
