Took my nephews from Fond du Lac out on a fishing trip on the river. I told them we were not going to be using live bait. They were not too excited about that until the horny toads started getting crushed almost every cast. We ended up catching 15 or so bass and a few pike including a 33 incher that I thought was going to pull Eli into the water. The Alpha spincast combo did its job and we got it to the net. What a great time!! My sister told me that is the first thing they talked about to their friends at the bus stop on the first day of school. They can’t wait to come back and I can’t wait for them to come back to Sparta so we can catch a few more.
