My son and I were fishing on Rainy Lake on the Canadian side. On 8/23/08 we had a double fish on, he had a 29 1/4″ walleye and I had a 29 3/4″ walleye. We landed them in a musky net at the same time. 
Our average size walleye for the week was 27.4″. This was the best year yet.
