Looking for some recommendations on campgrounds that would be in the SE part of the state. We were just down to Caledonia – Dunromin campground a couple of weeks ago and had a great time. We like the area, the scenery, and the lack of bugs.
Looking for something not quite as far.
A place with a pool for the kids.
Possibly along the river – maybe down towards Wabasha or around that area, but too far south as we have to be back to the west metro for Sunday afternoon softball game.
Something that has trees…don’t like camping in a hay field.
Packin up the tent trailer and headed out for the weekend of the 22nd of August.
