It isn’t often you are pleasantly surprised by customer service over the phone these days, but I just was.
My 6 year old shower has had a slow drip for about a year and my wife finally had enough and told me to fix it or she was calling a plumber. I was going to go to the hardware store and get the parts and decided to pull up Delta’s website to make sure I had the right numbers. I saw they had some sort of a lifetime warranty on things so I called them. The nice woman I spoke with verfied my fixture and said she would send out a new cartridge kit free of charge and asked if I needed anything else. I sheepishly said my kids had stripped out the handle in their bath. She said she would send a new handle assembly. I told her I only needed the white bolt, but she sent out a whole new assembly just in case.
I was impressed and Delta has earned a customer for life.
Now I just need to get the new parts installed without screwing it up and having to call that plumber anyway
