This is as simple as it gets and…you will like it

Let me start by saying this recipe can be adjusted 1000 ways but, you want simple and the best way to pan fry chicken?…… This is a great starter! Follow these easy steps, try it and see what you want to add the next time (garlic, Cayenne Pepper, Emeril’s, Jim Zumbo spices….whatever)

This also works great with wings in the deep fryer. Season the same way but heat up some of your favorite dipping sauces and let the company choose if they like it, hot, spicy or plain.

Of course rinse your chicken well, then dab with paper towel.
Cover completely with McCormick Original Chicken Seasoning, make it good and red all around!

Add a inch of Peanut oil to your seasoned pan.

After oil is good and hot (350degrees) roll your chicken in flour and add to oil.
I start the burning over the medium mark and than back off as necessary, as the moister escapes the chicken turn your heat down to keep from splattering!

You will want your first side to fry approximately 20 minute, you want to see blood escaping the meat.

We like our bird good and done like in this picture before I turn it over.
After turning over, let it fry another 15 minutes…..remember if it is splattering turn your heat down some!

After the 15 minutes cover (you will defiantly need to turn down the heat when covered)…….this is going to make that chicken melt in your mouth o
Turn and cover another 5-10 minutes. It should take 50 minutes to an hour, depending on the size of the thighs and legs.
Drain on paper towel let sit a few minutes and serve

If you take the time to read this and do it……you will like it.
We are always open here at the Clark’s to other easy Chicken Recipe’s….take the time to share them and we will give it a try.

About 20 minutes ago, I’m sitting at work think’n to myself….”man I’m hungry…I could go for some fried chicken.”

Since I can’t leave work yet, I figured I’d play on IDO for a bit. Now you go and put a post up about fried chicken.

Man that looks good. Been tied to my desk for 17 hours right now, with another couple to go and I have not eaten since I grabbed a cookie on the way in this morning.

I will take a chicken, and instead of adding flour or any of that stuff, I just toss in a few pats of butter into the bottom of a pan, sprinkle the skin of the legs and breasts with some lawreys season salt, red pepper, black pepper, garlic salt, and some kansas city rub. then just do the same, fry it until it is done, then with what is left, mix up a few mushrooms and onions in the juices left in the pan and just heat them up, so they still have crunch and serve over the top of the chicken. goes really good with mash taters and gravey, the mushrooms and onion carry the chicken taste into the taters. mmmmmmmm sounds good.
