Wildlife Management Banner?

I’ve noticed a lot of good changes here at IDO over the last several weeks and months. But the one I noticed today really has me wondering. At the top of the forum index page is a banner that often appears asking for a donation to support wildlife management. But in the lower right corner of that ad is a wolf with the dreaded circle and line over its head. Now I fully understand the battle between bear (and other dog) hunters and DNR biologists regarding wolf populations but that ad to me seems to be promoting the eradication of an animal species. I have to ask, is that really what it means? If so is that what we, as sportsman, are coming to? Will we now eliminate “garbage” species? I’m hoping this is an over reaction on my part. As a responsible and ethical sportsman I cannot compute the thought process of complete elimination one bit. Certainly that isn’t an ideal I’d spend even the smallest amount of money to support.
