Hit the water at 7 Am to explore for Walleyes. Found a sandy beach area with baitfish jumping and started throwing a Wally diver and on the second cast took a 5 lb plus Walleye. I took 2 more 5 lb plus fish from the same area and then the sun came out and shut things down. Moved to another area and took a 5.6 lb Walleye which was the last fish I caught. What a day all 4 the Walleyes where between 23 and 24.6 inches, which means they were all released to fight another day. Can’t wait till the old Mississippi gets back to normal

“back to normal” heck; i’d take those any day!!

but, yes, it will be nice to see normal flow after a couple months of high water down this way.
