Stressed before opener!

Well it seems that I won’t be getting any work done this week. All I can think about is my busted boat! The story goes…I never want to be the guy that holds up the line at the landing opening morning, so I try to do my early “dry run” to make sure that everything is working before the opener. I have had the boat out a couple times and everything has been working without a glitch. That was until I cracked the throttle to head for the landing yesterday afternoon. The slow climb of rpm’s was suddenly interupted by what sounded like the engine flooding or bogging down. Repeated attempts yielded the same results, until suddely the engine wanted to take off like normal. It ran a little shaky on the top end, and it was apparent that it needed some help. Being it was Sunday evening by the time I got home there was no help to be had until this morning. I brought it in this morning, and now I have no guarantees when I’ll get it back. Now instead of holding up the line at the ramp, I’ll be the guy hoping his boat is done Thursday or Friday to get out at all. I’m not looking for any mechanical advice, just needed to vent to some people that may understand! Good Luck this weekend Hope to see you out there
