Hello all, my grandfather on my father’s side passed away peacefully on Saturday night at 91 years of age. My Dad and the rest of the family were there to be with him at the hospice home where he died. The next morning my dad felt pretty sick and decided to stay home from church. What we thought was a combination of stress from his father’s death and maybe a cold or flu, got progressively worse and by Tuesday night he was too weak to get out of bed to use the bathroom. Mom took him into the ER and this morning we found out he had bleeding in his brain caused by what is believed to be some bacterial infection which began in his heart. He lost the use of his left side which is a result of the bleeding. He is in the intensive care unit at St. Joseph’s Hospital in St. Paul. As of now, they were able to stop the bleeding, but they are still trying to find the cause. As you read this post, please say a prayer, a Hail Mary if you know it, for my dad, Jerry and my Grandather, Walter. A special thanks to you all and God bless.
