Announcing the 2008 IDO Official Summer Get Together on Lake Mille Lacs! This year’s Event on August 1st and 2nd will feature a Saturday night BBQ with turkey and roast beef, and a corn feed put on by Hunter’s Point. Following the dinner, there will be an “All IDO Launch” fishing trip. Hunter’s has two launches, and George recommends 20 per boat. So get your requests in early for this one! Once we have an approximate head count, George will give us a “Per Head” amount for the food and launch. Many cabins and campsites are open presently. Please make arrangements for lodging on your own. I do know at this time, the Motel, many cabins, and George’s old house (That sleeps 12!) and East Side are available. Please mention that you are with the In-Depth Outdoors Party. George mentioned that anyone with wheel houses or trailers are welcome to park by the creek. Showers are available at Hunters for those wishing to camp. Again, contact George at Hunter’s Point for more details on that. Their number is 320-676-3227.
