Fuel Pump Question

    I have a 2000 Johnson 150hp outboard that I think the fuel pump went out on. I was looking a purchasing a new pump but I don’t really feal like spending $300 on the stupid thing. Does anyone know if it is possible to repair/rebuild a fuel pump? Thanks in advance for your help.

    Just make sure you start simple first before thinking the pump went bad. Check for power to the pump, fuses and such.

    Thanks Matt. I will make sure I do that before getting too far into it. My first thought was the filter but that turned out to be fine.
