    Anyone been out on p3 in the last few days? Is the water and flow up?

    Pool 3 is up, but not like it has been in the past.

    Friendly reminder that eye fishing is closed up stream of the St Croix and the St Croix is closed too until the opener.

    As with any spring or rising water, watch out for debris. I lucked out when I hit one partially submerged log today…a little close on another.

    Mudhen rafts are HUGE! Saw a flock of Pelicans in there whitness circling a muskrat and some pretty big shad.

    Although I didn’t get a line wet…mother nature got me wet….and I love it!

    i hit P3 on sat. 4-5-08 (didn’t feel like battling the zoo on P4) anyway was a very nice day out, launched at prescott, fished alot of differant spots with no fish to be had, not even a bite, saw water temps from 36 to 40 dagrees, a little early for P3 but once the ice goes out on the st. croix things should pick up.
    did i mention it was a nice day out?
