Tis the season to start thinking about a new roof for my house. I am interested in some feedback and recommendations for some roofing contractors in the Byron/Rochester area. Any suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated so that I can begin the qoutation process.
I have also posted a picture of my house. It is approximately 1280 sq. ft. How many square do you think the roof is and what do you think it’ll cost to roof with some good 20 or 30 year shingles.

From the looks of it i am guessing 32 sq. I would go with a good quality shingle say timberline which comes at a minimum 30 yr. 10,000 to 12,000.
Cheap 20 yr from 5400 to 6000.
go with a good quality shingle this is one area of your house you dont want to skimp on.
These are two estimates ranging from lowest to highest at a guess only from pics.
Menard’s has blue tarps on sale, and I have a bunch of old tires. Tarp that baby up and throw some tires on there to hold everything in place. That should buy a couple more years.

I have had Ronningen roofing do a fair amount of work and they are top notch. Fast dependable and always competative on his pricing. You cant go wrong. Remember, cheap isn’t always the best.

I met Stick when he responded to a post very similar to this.
I was just looking for someone to install some kitchen cabinets that I was going to order from Home Depot.
Once he came over, made a couple suggestions and saved us about $2000.00 over the Depot price and did an OUTSTANDING job of installing them. On top of that…the FW had the cabinets built that she really wanted.
I was happy.
FW was VERY happy.
