If you dont have a heat gun a blow dryer works as well, that is what i have used before

How about that, I guess a hair dryer works also. 3 of the same answers at the same time.

Then a little Goo-Gone to clean off any residual glue.

I had redneck jr and sled head take off tons of lettering from an old box truck last year, they used head guns, and
a product from the car parts stoor called woodies graphix remover. The best thing that worked was a combination of the woodies product and a rubber wheel that you put in a drill. It was quick.

Much better than Goo Gone is a 3M product “Adhiesive Remover” at any auto body shop. Work awsome!

The 3M stuff works great! If you have acetone lying around try that for the residue also. I would recomend using the heat gun for the bulk of it and then clean it up with a solvent(3M or Acetone). If it is on painted aluminum, careful with the solvents. It will fade a little, but will buff right back out.

HAIR DRYER – Did the same thing last year and it worked great. Didn’t use anything else besides the hair dryer.

Isopropyl also works to remove residue if you have that laying around.

Goo Gone and a 3M product called “Adhiesive Remover”.

Some of these things here can really cause U something U might like.

Acetone!! bad stuff can ruin soft materials
    Works on glass about it!

    70% Isopropyl works a little.
Takes alot of rubbing and U can change the color!

    WD-40
Heard some people will grease thier E-bow with this
