Pretty classless if you ask me. What good does it do for his team now?? They aren’t getting any press, so he decided to stir the pot?? Jealous KG and the celts may make the finals this year??

Taylor is just another spoiled rich boy. He’s the one who traded KG for a team of lousy players. What was the celts record last year, worst in the league. We traded our superstar for the starting line up of the worst team in the league.

Not that I think anyone in the East has a chance, I hope the Celtics win it all!!! Then KG can tell Taylor to kiss his and say “see what happens when you put talent around me”

    1) I think by KG sitting he actually helped the team. If they didn’t want to help put tallent around him he figured he would do it him self!

    2) Amazing how Taylor listens to no one about the team. Howlong have Fans been calling for McHales head, or the removal of Whittman? However he expects the rest of us to care when he speaks.

3)Amazing how he’s still trying to blame others for his and others failure, and not hold the appropriate people responsible.

Just a side not. Is anyone else shocked that he has so much money? I mean if he ran his other businesses like he runs the wolves they would all be dead in the water in a year.

Only better job than being a weather man/woman… Being one of Taylors friends, get paid to drive a team into the ground,( this goes for McFail, and Witless) and know that your last day will be when ever you decide.

My thoughts exactly when I read that headline. Taylor has absolutely failed as an owner and who cares if KG tanked last year. They needed a draft pick more than anything….besides new ownership.

I dont really follow this team but, KG gave alot to the franchise for 13 years and didnt get a very good supporting cast around him during those years considering what a great ball player he is, he is a classy guy. Seems to me these remarks by Taylor are classless.

kg was a steady double double every night but he was not a team leader, he was to worried about being friends with his team mates, he did not want the ball at crunch time, he did have talent around him (no not every year) they made the western conf. finals one year and the next year they basicly had the same team and didn’t even make the playoffs (i think?) anyway what was differant them 2 years? cossel and sprewell started yapping about there contracts, this was when kg needed to take them a side and tell them to shut up and play but he didn’t because they were his “friends” i’m not saying he isn’t a good steady player because he is he’s just not a leader you can biuld a team around he does not want that job he just wants to play. i think the wolves stuck with him too long.
i think the last couple of years he did tank it some what because he wanted out of minnesota.

this is just my opinion and does not reflect the opinions of others.

The answer is…………….nobody cares, about the Wolves, KG or Taylor.

KG is gone, Taylor and the Wolves could follow and nobody would notice.

    Not true at all….

People would celebrate Taylor no longer driving a team into the ground in ever way possible.

Then people would eventually want another NBA team, with a no Taylor ownership clause. But by then it would be too late because we would have lost 2 NBA teams and unless the entire east and west coast of the country was wiped off the map, so they would then be forced to give us a 3rd shot.

I think the whole is being blown out of proportion by the media and fans.

I’d like to hear the entire audio interview before I rip Taylor on this one.
Obviously he could have answered the question of “did your team tank it last year at the end of the season” without mentioning Garnett taking the last 5 games off which he did.

And like stated above who Care’s if Garnett took some games off at the end of 2 dreadfull seasons after the effort he gave us night in and night out for 12 years. Our young players needed the time and the draft pick was more important!

Taylor is neither the problem or solution.
Pro basketball is not a sport as much as it’s entertainment much like the circus. Any game that doesn’t enforce the rules i;e traveling, palming, charging ect is entertainment not sport.

Think the NBA is wanted? Take all the people with corporate tickets out of the Target Center and see what you have left.

It’s entertainment, and for my money not very good entertainment at that.

I’d second that post. The most fun basketball to watch imo is being played now through Apr. 7!

I worked for a Taylor company for 15 years and met him a few times. The first time I met him 10 years ago he was driving a 9 year old Buick LeSabre. Just never impressed me as a spoiled rich guy. He started out with less than most of us.

Has he failed as an NBA owner? Whatever. Again I have about as much regard for that league as “pro” wrestling.

One day after he signed KG to a big contract I added a $10,000 “KG” surcharge to all my invoices that day as a joke (& corrected before sending them out!!) reasoning with my supervisor that we’d either have to think out of the box to pay that salary or forego pay raises for the next few years. Unfortunately he didn’t see much humor in it!

Well i am not a huge basketball fan, but i was a little upset to see KG go. he was one of the better players on the team, i hope he does well with the celtics, but i think in the next two years some of the rookies we got will be good to go. for now, i will follow the vikes
