I’m sure many of you are in the same boat…

Pop @ work cost 70 cents a can, can’t have fridges in the office…looking for some sort of a 110 electrical way to take a warm soda and cool it in a matter of minutes.

Anyone create anything like this or see it advertised on the net?

    Thanks

I know this site offers more creativity than that…

I would think taking a very small cooler of cold pop with an ice pack would be a simple fix.

it’s not very good for the envirement but a freon can upside down spray liquid on a can and it gets cold real fast.

How about finding a place to work that doesn’t sell canned pop for a profit to their employees..

if you’ve got computer access, there’s a new little mini fridge out that plugs into the usb port. it only fits one can, and is suppose to cool in 5 min. sorry, can’t remember who makes it though.

If a few extra dimes for a can of pop at work is getting to ya, you need to go fishing more, your wrapped to tight around the axle!

$.70 is cheap! $1.00 here for 12 oz can, $1.25 for a 20 oz bottle.

Salted ice water will do it in a few minutes.

    I saw it on Mythbusters

Here are some pretty neat options. I can’t have a “mini” fridge in my cube at work, so these little usb coolers look pretty neat.

I have a small electric cooler. You can plug it in and it stays pretty cold. That might help you.

According to Mythbusters on the discovery channel a fire extinguisher does it in a few seconds. Just keep using up the ones at work until they lower the price.

We got these new plastic disposible boxed at work now that we sell to hospitals for carrying organs that have an R-80 insulation rating! Supposed to be able to keep thing cold in them for up to 6 days with ice. Now I just gotta get one from them for personal use!
