Green Bay Motel

Hi guys. I am planning on heading over to the Fox River next week thursday-saturday. anyone know a place to stay for a cheap rate. I am in college So I am looking for something around the $40 range give or take a few. Looking for a place close to the Fox Point ramp In Depere. Thanks for the help.

around the 40 dollar range in Green Bay around Depere good luck with that one. The cheapest I ever found was 72.00 at the super 8 on Oneida St. Phone: 920-494-2042….when your there, sign up for Trip Rewards and you’ll get a little of that back.

Stay in Appleton, the Snug Inn Motel. It is $39 a night and not bad. The interior decorating is a little old, but they are clean, have wireless internet, new TVs with DVD players, microwaves, and the larger sized fridges. If you guys get bored, the Beansnapper is only about 2 miles away. The hotel is a block or two off HWY 41 so it doesn’t take long to get to DePere. I’m packing my fishing rod on the next trip out there too.

For those of you who do not know about “the Beansnapper”…it is a locally well know “center for the performing arts”.

One of the nicest hotels in the area is the Sleep Inn in Depere. Rates always seemed reasonable. Nice “free” breakfeast. Right off 41….Lawrence Drive exit I believe. Easy on and off the highway. Or if you wish you could take the back roads into Depere and use the ramp on the west side of the river. Have fun.

Stay at the North Star Motel. It’s only 10 minutes from the Metro Boat launch. It’s clean and they have places outside to plug your boat in.

I have no idea on lodging, but be sure to get a meal, a or two, and some good sports and scenery at the Tilted Kilt

so I’ve heard…..

I’ve been told that the Tilted Kilt is a must on my next trip out there. I guess they have good wings

There is a nice Sportsman’s Warehouse in DePere. Ty in the fishing dept. will point you in the right direction.

Its the Hwy F, Scheuring Road exit. And Sportsman’s Warehouse is right there too. Both places are fairly new and clean.

Found a place for $33 a night. Its only 2-3 minutes from the launch. Thanks for all the help guys and gals
