Foosball in 1971? I thought people still road horses way back then.

I wish I would have checked IDA before I went to bed. I would have a new table for sure.

I bought the Foosball table.I used to play in the 70s too so Ill have to see how good the champ is when I go and pick it up.I was riding Harleys back then but they were less reliable than horses

So is the next “official unofficial” get together a foos ball tournament? used to have one in my basement growing up. played for hours. and definatly like the old school ones versus the new ones with 3 or 2 guys in the back.

Castaway, is the table going in the fish house?

I have to admit I’ve seen some “old timers” play some mean foosball. In 2003 I was the champ in my fraternity house untill parents day. My Dad came in absolutly kicked my . I was shocked and so was everyone else. In 19 years I never once say him near a foosball table. I guess it must be like riding a bike…you never forget.

You gotta love some of the old stuff.Where you had to put a lil energy into your game unlike most of the new fad stuff.X-Box ,Nintendo & Playstation garb.Although I had to get the new Wii & it is pretty cool. Can give you one heck of a workout.Dads a pro at golf & think I’m a rock star at guitar hero now boxing my 8 year old hands me my I have a foos ball table & air hockey.Wanted the kids to grow up exercising while playing with dad. Now if I could convince the wife into bowling game, will be good to go. Going to wait on pool table as kids are a bit hard on them & cues. Game(s)on anyone?

Big D, our brother Wayne and myself, used to drink for free on alot of friday and saturday nights at the “River Roost”…. that brings back some memories We always had foosball tables in the basement, while growing up. I say “tables” because we would actually break the guys legs off, that or wore them off. I too had a wicked slider… Big D had a shot he called “the brown bottle”… he would shoot from the back row, and beer on the rail on the other end (in a brown bottle) would fall on the floor !!! Bet he remembers that

Yup, nothing like the sound of a goal scored by the defense!

    Whhhhhiiiiirrrrrrrrr… CRACK!

Won a couple local contests and had a few good shots myself. Man, talk about memories! Haven’t played for so long I’d probably have to “spin till ya win”.
