I’ll walk you thru it…First of all make sure you picture is less than 100000 bytes and is sized at it’s max side of 450 pixils… Then in your post there are some boxes at the bottom and there is a check in one of them. when you click continue it will promt you to browse your computer for your picture….click on browse and find your picture in the file you saved it in…double click on that picture and it will automaticly send it to the box in your post…from here all you have to do is click continue and wa~la~

There are probably (definately) better guys to help than me but here’s my attempt:

Save the pic on your computer (My Documents or My Pictures).

Do your regular post thing and then click CONTINUE. Be sure the “I want to preview my post and/or attach a file” box is checked by the CONTINUE button.

When you hit continue you will see your post… look down a bit and you will see “You may attach a file if you like (no bigger than 100000 bytes please). ” and a BROWSE button.

Click the BROWSE button to look for your pic (of course you have to remember what you named the pic in the first place). When you find the pic you want to post, double click on it and it should enter into that browser bar.

Click CONTINUE again and it should be done.

I hope this helps. If it is not correct, just wait. Someone wiser than I will be along soon.

    Good Luck! – Wade

hey guys, thanks. just one more question, how would one go about resizing the pic to smaller than 1000000 bytes?

OK !! that pic is 14628 bytes and 211×140 pixils !!

Now pretend you have an awwsome walleye pic and you want to post it here, make that pic at or under 100000 bytes and it’s largest side 450 pixils… Use the pic you just posted if you want…

let’s try to make it a little bigger

a little fuzzy, but i think that’s just the photographers fault

It’s better to take a larger picture and make it smaller than to take a smaller picture and make it larger…There is not enough pixils to make the small picture clear in a bigger image but there is plenty of pixils in a larger picture to make it small…

Don’t get caught up in pixel size. It can varry depending on the camera settings. Only concern yourself with keeping the pix under 100,000 bytes (or 100 KB) For instance, this picture originates as 700×525 pixels and only 56.5 KB. (The file size changes slightly after uploading, but you get the idea)

Nice work guys! Jon, nice pic!

Jake, I’m not sure what you’re doing there in that pic but a long, long, long time ago, when I was in college, we used to put that green stuff in brownies and eat it. It made all the girls look a whole lot better and taking test a lot less nerve-racking. But you go ahead and go on about your business there. I’m sure you know what you are doing.

The above should not be attempted by any man, woman, or child. Do not try this at home (or anywhere else)!

    I agree Jon,

But if your picture is a small pixil size say 200×150 and you try to enlargen it to 450×325 then it will be fuzzy and there isn’t much you can do…But !! If your picture is 1500×1200 and you downsize it ti 450×325 it wil look fabulous !!

Absolutely Correct! One more thing that really works well for me is to learn to use the “Crop” feature. By “Cropping” off portions of the sides and tops of the picture, you eliminate a lot of bytes. Give it a try!..

    Brian,

You can add multiple images to a single post by linking pictures using the “Image” function in the “Instant UBB Code” section. The images must be uploaded to your webspace and you link back to them using that “Image” link.
