Is there anyone out there that needs to renew their CC permit, and would be interested in doing so at Bill’s Gun Range in Circle Pines? For now, this is just the “Refresher” course required to renew the permit. So far I have 3 guys looking to remew. We would like to get a class full before committing to a date.

Although my CC permit doesn’t expire until 8/31/2010, I am wondering what the refresher course entails and costs?

That is what I intend to find out. I took mine with you EJ, it is a couple buddies of mine looking to renew. I just need a head count. JJ, with you we have 4.

Mine doesnt expire until next Jan 09. Would this class still be valid for my renewal? If so I would be interested.

I assume it was the same as when you applied you actually have a year from the date you took the class.

This link explains it pretty good http://ellegon.com/features/data/renewals/

I got some time myself, I got mine much later than most of you.

Here is what I got from John at Bill’s:

    Chris

“The renewal class is 4 hours long and costs $100. If you go to the web site at http://www.billsgs.com and click on calendar, you’ll see that dates that are available. We are running the classes on a pretty frequent basis, so it should not be an issue to get you all together.”

Let me know if I should set it up..

    FYI.
Anyone who has received a permit in one county and then moves within Minn., has to notify that county of the address change. If you move to another county within Minn., you do not have to notify the new county as the permit is good for the whole state. You would renew your permit in the new county though.
