    We had 3 ” of Thundersnow here yesterday. It thundered , and lightening for a couple hours here yesterday. Never heard of it before. Weird !!!

    My dad gew up in Arlington Heights, IL. He said they used to get thundersnow all the time in winter down there. Sounds weird to me, but I would like to see it or I guess hear it someday

    Its been thundering and lightning this morning with some snow coming down, not much snow but nice to hear it.

    Thier predicting thundersnow through the night tonight. Local amounts of 12″ with the norm 7″ to 12″. The main band is from west to east in the southern parts of the state but were still supposed to get 7″ or more here. 1″ to 3″ an hour is what they forcast.

    Looks like it’s going to be a ‘Heart attack’ kind of snow.
    Sure hope the wife paces herself trying to move it.

    I told mine a little hard work is good for the old ticker so I said if she shoveled the walk Id split some wood, she agreed. She then said she’d bring enough in the house for a few days if I got the wheelbarrow, I took her up on that one too.

    wow,the local news just said we were in the 12-18 inch range.No work tomorrow .

    Its 5:16 in the morning and were getting pounded with snow and high winds, blizzard conditions right now, can barely see the street lights a 1/2 block away. Usually the plows are out by now doing the streets and thier not even moving.

    We ended up getting about 14″ and its supposed to snow a little more tonight, everybody heres saying we haven’t seen this amount for 30 years. Should make for good mushroom hunting if its not cloudy all spring.

    Ended up with about 6 inches here but it was wet. Tougher than heck to move.
