Carp caught during walleye tourney!!

    I was fishing the Iowa State walleye championships last week-end and caught a couple big carp.Thought you guys would like to see the pics.
    The first one was 16# 2oz’s. and was caught on a blue and silver wally minnow.

    And this one was caught on a spinner/leech combo.Sorry for the unhappy looks on my face but you always think it’s going to be that winning walleye!!!!!

    Ryan, that carp doesn’t look too happy either buddy.

    Sorry it wasn’t a walleye brother! Keep after it. The fun is in the fishing.

    Good fish that put up a good fight I bet! But yeah, if I was looking for the winning fish, I’d be a little less than enthusiastic too! You’ll get ’em next time!

    Hey Ryan, you really need to work on that smile of yours! lol. I know, been there a week ago with a week of fishing and only 10” eyes to show for it along with sheephead, bluegills, and northern. Hang in there Bud, fall is coming so it can only get better. Thanks for the pics. Thanks, Bill
