I would like to start getting my minnows out of the same water I’m fishing,so I thought I would try getting my minnows while I was on the water which would mean using a cast net.I would like to be able to go out and get 6-10 dozen minnows.There are so many different sizes can someone give me a heads up on what size net I should have for catching crappie & walleye sized minnows.What arethe easiest cast nets to throw,certain brand?Are there certain places you need to throw the net out tocatch minnows ? where is the best place to catch minnows? Are the minnows in different areas at different times of the year? I am reffering to catching minnows in the Mississippi River.Any help on catching bait with a cast net on the river,is greatly appreciated.
