There is planned for Sept 11th, a Minnesota Remembers 9/11 rally. The rally is planned for Thursday, Sept 11th. It is at Midway Stadium, the place the Saints play, and will begin officially at 7:00pm. There will be a Jumbotron Documentary entitled “Tragic Memories” which will begin at 6:15pm. The evening will be in remembrance of September 11th, 2001 and all of the victims. The people scheduled to appear include Jeff Passolt (Master of Ceremonies) The family of Tom Burnett-Hero of Flight 93, there will be speeches by Governor Tim Pawlenty, A.G. Mike Hatch, Bob Naegele Jr.-Owner of the Minnesota Wild, and a few others.
Donations will be accepted to fund a renovation at the Minnesota Veterans Home.
Gates open at 6pm so you can see the documentary.
This should be a very special way to help remember that day that changed all of our lives forever.
