I have an organization called Disabled Fishing Veterans Inc., in which I take out disabled veterans on fishing trips. This year I was sending out a Christmas greeting to some vets that I have taken out and I got a response back from one of my regulars sons that his father passed away last month.
I was suppose to take him out this last fall and was not able to due to my wifes grandmother passing away. I feel like I just missed out in saying good buy.
To everyone reading this post, it is important to get kids involved in the outdoors but do not forget those who got you involved and let them know how much you care and enjoy what they have done for you.
