I just saw that Amtrak runs from MPLS to Devils Lake on Kent Herbek Outdoors and I got to thinking… I haven’t thought of/got my dad a Christmas present yet and I thought that would be a good surprise. Anyone have any information/suggestions about guides or resorts on devils lake? I’m thinking about going during either the first or second weekend in January. Has anyone ever done the Amtrak trip out to Devils Lake? How did it go? Any information would be appreciated.
