An old fishing buddy of mine sent this picture over to me. This SMB and a bunch like it were caught on a recent trip to Quentico (Canada side of the Boundary Waters) I’m jealous!
God, I remember only to well all the hours I’ve spent fishing and duck hunting out of a canoe. Makes me wonder how my balance is doing? Great fish, wonderful scenery, wish I was there!
Coloration is awesome on that smb. I had a really sweet looking one a year or so ago come from the Cedar, but it wasn’t nearly as brown as that one. The most unique part of mine was it’s grey belly.
I always expect guys who fish from a tightrope to look more… well… wet than he does.
