Best route from Twin Cities to Cedar Rapids???

    Well I picked the short straw and I have to go to Cedar Rapids tomorrow for work. I do not always trust Mapquest for the best route. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    The map at the bottom of the page here is the best route ro take.It’s 4 lane the whole way.

    Quickest route is 35 south to HWY 20 here in Iowa, HWY 20 too waterloo then get on 380 south, Cedar Rapids is 50 miles down the road. If you want to drive the prettiest route follow the mississippi to McGreggor Iowa then over to 18, then too 52, then 13 south right into town, the best deer country in Iowa!

    Heck I’m ready to fish for (gulp) walleyes!

    I’m very close to the Blues of the Missouri River, within 6 miles of a reservoir that has flats and channels.

    With no equipment. I am unprepared!

    Thanks everyone! And Dan I think I might just have to take that drive through deer country. It will get me in the right mode for bowhunting next week and gun season next Saturday.
