Holy crap and wow are the thoughts that keep coming into my head. You obviously see things that some of us don’t. Nice job! It’s funny, I was just thinking the other day…..”I wonder if that one guy is going to put some more pictures up here.” Thanks for doing it!

Very nice Ken, Your photos are great. My favorite shot is the stream flowing over the rocks at a slow shutter speed. Very nice pictures Ken.

Frame some of those bad boys up, and let’s start the bidding! I have a lot of empty walls!

I just bought a new digital and could use some lessons. What do you charge?

I suppose I could put a price on the lessons… but the experience is “priceless”… today at dawn I was in Crex Meadows wildlife preserve.. there were 8,000 sandhill cranes present… over 100 trumpeter swans… lots of hawks… and of course.. really just lots of a number of things… there is soemthing peaceful and healing about just sitting there watching and listening to whats around you.. and watching a new day dawn… its hard not to be uplifted… and to feel a part of something thats so much larger than yourself…. the hightlight of the day was I watched an otter playing with a bullhead he caught.. he was having fun.. tossing it up in the air and catching it…. well.. neither he (or I for that matter).. saw the Eagle that thought.. huh… well.. if he is just going to play with his food then…… so somehow the eagle timed the otters tosses and managed to arrive at the precise time he needed to…. but you know how like when your watching a wide reciever who is wide open.. and somehow drops the ball? maybe they are thinking of their dance steps in the end zone or something… well… lol.. the eagles gets one talon on the fish… and knocks it for a loop…. the fish hits the water in a place the otter wasnt expecting… (and he couldnt miss seeing the eagle either!)… so now its a race to the fish… the eagle does a quick bank.. the otter is racing over like a porpose…. and….. and….. its the otter.. by a nose!… he grabs the fish and power dives…. man.. that eagle was MAD… (moslty at himself I spose!)…. he was out there just raising a ruckus.. the otter stays underwater until he finds an old stump.. and he surfaces amongst the roots… well.. thats it for the eagles chances… lol…. but man what a show… and me..? well it was out there a ways…and all I got was a shot of the otter and his fish…. I kept trying to time his throws and catch the fish in the air.. but… well.. I guess the eagle was better at that then me….
