Boy Clev, what a huge let down!
Not sure if it even worth watching anymore…….
October 22, 2007 at 11:41 am #618483I don’t know if it was an Indian collapse or a Redsox assault, but wow, what a comeback!(I was pullin for the Tribe).
This has the makings of a GREAT series though, the Rockies boast the best defense of perhaps all-time and the Bosox are solid, very solid.
Any time you get a chance to see Tim Wakefield (Boston) pitch, take it.A knuckleballer is a rarity and really FUN to watch. It’s a toss up as to which manager is more nervous when Wakefield pitches.Heck Wakefield has no idea where the ball is going, let alone the catcher or batter!October 22, 2007 at 12:17 pm #618496I was pulling for the Tribe all the way. I think last nights game show what can happen when you blow a call as an official. I was arguing with my freind, Who happens to be a Bo Sox Fan, that Lofton was safe at second. HE completely disagreed, until he saw the slo mo replay, then he just started laughing. I think that was where the tribe ended up losing the game. If he’s not called out they tie the game and only have 2 outs. Instead they were onlyable to pull to within one.
I always love a good game 7 and that was a great one up until that call! I swore The only NL team I would cheer for in a series was any team playing the Yankees, or The Brew Crew. I was wrong LET’S GO ROCKIES!!!!!!October 22, 2007 at 3:32 pm #618590I am with you Skunked! I love watching a knuckle baller dance the ball past normaly good hitter. The only bad thing is when he is off look out its like he is throwing batting practice.

GO SOX
October 22, 2007 at 5:47 pm #618638Amen. How could that ump miss that call, he was on top of it ? He tagged him in the face, right over the bag… where the he77 did he think his left hand went ? Definitiely a turning point in the game.

October 22, 2007 at 6:16 pm #618645Did anone see the footage yesterday of the Rockies having practice? In about 3 inches of snow…..
It should be a great World Series.
October 22, 2007 at 6:57 pm #618669I believe the call was also blown, however having played college baseball, I don’t believe that was the turning point of the game. Boston completely out-played the Indians. They out scored them 30-5 or something like that in the last three games. You can’t blame that on one blown call. In baseball, they don’t have the challenge like you do in the football. Maybe they should implement it? Cleveland is a great young team, however, I think the better of the two won the ALCS.
GO RED SOX NATION!!!!
October 23, 2007 at 1:41 am #618802Replays in baseball should never be allowed. It’s the human element that makes baseball what it is. Manny being Manny is why we watched those last couple of games. Seeing the kid run down that fly ball in the 9th. Becket throwing BB’s…………thats what baseball is about.
Fact is Clevelands top 2 starters got beat around in 4 games.
October 23, 2007 at 9:03 pm #619031I just read that Tim Wakefield was left off the WS roster due to his shoulder injury.
