    I agree.. I dont like having 4 zebras on the ice. But a W is a W.

I walked back in the house with 15 minutes left the game and found out that Boston took MI to OT, then got to watch the Gopher comeback. I know both Mazzaco and Woog were a little amazed at the call, which I didn’t see, but it lead to an interesting finish. Don’t blame the RPI coach for blowing a gasket, either. Great to see college hockey back. Talked to the bartender last night who thought that the Badgers starting at 15 wasn’t very good, but look its a long season and after beating what should be a good Notre Dame team, it was an encouraging start!!! Looking forward to the Gophs beating MI tonight!!!

2 referees have hurt the NHL. It actually causes more missed calls (IMHO). For example, if on referee “thinks” he sees a trip near the other referee, he may tend not to make the call thinking, “if it was a trip, the other referee would have called it.” I’ve seen a lot more missed calls in the NHL since they added a second red stripe. Not to mention it’s one more body on the ice.
Hockey to me is like spring fishing, the more open ice the better.

Ryan Stoa out for the season with a knee injury. Need some of the other guys to really step up. I hope Frazee has an amazing year too because 40 some shots a night might not be uncommon.

read that about Stoa this morning too hope someone steps up again like most years but you WILL NOT win championships with 40 shots on goal allowed nightly…..

Losing Stoa is huge.. The D really needs improvement.. The last 3-4 years they have really struggled with leaving guys open in front of the net.
