    Looks like the Bucs are looking for some help. Can the Vikings bail them out of their injury woes AND help themselves?

    Possible trade?

    Maybe we could send them some “Chili” for some “Chucky”……

    Even if it’s true… It won’t happen, at least including McKinney. Trading McKinny now would have the Vikies taking a Salary Cap hit for his signing bonus. I am pretty sure signing bonuses don’t go to the other team they are “expensed” in the following year, 2008 – 2009 season in this example. Even though I HAVE NEVER been a fan of McKinney, too darn big / slow for a tackle we have no one else to play Left Guard. We AT LEAST have to give Jackson a shot, and if you remove McKinney HE HAS no prayer. He will be hit every play!!!!

    This team ain’t going anywhere this year or even next. Trade Chester for draft pick (maybe get a 2nd round) and build for the 09/10 season. I don’t know what his guarantee $ is. Me-Mo is fine as a backup for Peterson.
