Just wondering what’s your favorite fishing show is. If you were going to watch just one, which one would it be?

Linders Angling Edge until IDO TV comes out. I got rid of the extended basic cable back in 2002 when I bought a bigger boat and just have the regular cable now. You can buy the Linders and also the In-Fisherman DVDs for the whole season for alot less than the higher cable cost. Only so much money and I’d rather spend it fishing.
    Thanks, Bill

I would like to say IDO but we cant get it in our area
So,I will say any fishing show that has walleye fishing methods in it. Not just someone catching them but how they are doing it and what they are using

IDO had some great stuff last season
Keys outdoors is entertaining, especially when a muskie is hooked then watching 3 guys jumping through hoops to get the cameras rolling.
A word to the wise however,do not watch this show in the middle of the winter as it will give you cabin fever big time!

I too enjoy john gillespies water and woods. He gets to be a little annoying with all his yelling, but I enjoy how he showcases WI and MN lakes and the shows are current.

IDO is very hard to beat. And Curtis you are right. That Gillespies guy is OK but 9 out of 10 guests and people around him look very annoyed by his antics.

Virgil Ward just for the intro song, but Tony Dean’s show is probably my all time favorite…no in-your face flashy camera crap, just good old Tony and a voice that makes a guy wanna go out and go fishing.

I usually listen with the volume very low. I have to admit, I still laugh every time I see the opening to the show when he sets the hook and falls down in the boat.

Hmmm…Tiffany does look like she is one-dimensional and only does hunting. If you need an excellent show that cover both hunting and fishing, well then I would have to go with Get Wild with Cindy Garrison. Very educational!

Although she can also be a little bit loud and annoying just like Gillespies.

Tiffany has a mild case of lock-jaw going on in her lower jaw which annoys me…my vote is for Cindy, too! In-fact, scratch that Virgil Ward statement I made earlier and insert Cindy Garrison.

Joe Bucher is my favorite, he produces his own blues music to go with the show. It is a little different and the guy can flat out fish for any species….

I’m going to have to vote for Linders Angling Edge. I just bought a DVR and am recording every episode i see then burning them to DVD!!!

I really wish we did get IDO though, if it’s anything like their DVD’s seem to be, it’s got to be really good. Anyway i can see a episode?
