    Hey guys,
Just wondering how everyone is doing with this years hunting season. Wisconsins early goose season is closed now and we are in the exterior hunt now and down to only 2 geese a day. We spend about 5 or 6 days out and ended up with 87 birds and 8 bands. How did everyone else Do????

What do you guys do with all those birds? I’ve had goose before and it wasn’t to bad. But I don’t think there are that many recipes for goose.

pepporoine sticks are the way to go. Unless you like Liver cause that is what it taste like. We turn them all into sausage and sticks and then take it out with us everytime we go out and by the end of the year it is gone.

I was in the Ottertail area last weekend (2nd weekend of early MN goose) and our group shot 26 on Sat. and 21 on Sun. with 4 bands.

If your thinking it tastes like liver,Your not making it right. Cut a breast into 3 strips,Marinate it in Italian Dressing,Wrap a stick of Bacon around it and grill it! When the bacon’s done,The goose is done.Tastes like steak…..That’s what the guys at work said after having some. And they don’t eat wild game.

119 with 13 bands. We have all ready had two game feeds this year. My buddy is a chef, so he loves trying different ways to cook them.

Well sounds like some of you guys are doing really well. Do you guys usually shoot that many bands or does it seem like an up year for jewlery??
