Patriots fined $250k and will forfeit 1st round draft pick if they do NOT make the playoffs, 2nd and 3rd round if they make the playoffs.
I would have liked to see Belichick have to sit out for a few games!

The picks are no big deal. They have 2 first round picks next year, theirs, and San Fransico’s. If they lose theirs, they will still have S.F.’s, which will most likely be higher, and if they lose their 2nd & 3rd, they can just trade the lower 1st for a 2nd & 3rd anyway. The money is they only thing that will real hurt him, and he can always sign another product endorsment to cover that.
IMHO, this is the biggest non issue the media has covered in a long time, besides Paris Hilton, Lindsey Lohand, and Brittany Spears!! 
I still think it’s a huge deal.. SO they have one first rounder instead of two. MONSTER difference.
Just want to play Devils Advocate here, but isn’t it the idea to try and figure out what your opponent is doing? 
I’m with you walleyebuster. The Pats LIVE off of picks, for Freeagent type of teams, No big deal But that’s now the Pats style, theyy draft, and they draft well.
