What GPS DATA chip would you put in a garmin 178? Want one with decent contouring and plenty of lakes.

    thanks

I can only aid in your decision in what works best for me. I say this because you first need to know what lakes are important to you and in what resolution you want your contours. I find Lakemaster to most fitting and appealing for myself and others, however its important you do your homework. I enjoy LakeMaster’s contours and High def. lakes, and also the land mapping. Just to get you started, here is the link from the Lakemaster site, lakemap.com, for the Garmin digital mapping cards:
    Lakemaster Garmin

Or you cvan also click the LakeMaster banner on the side of your screen.
From here you’ll have to view the lake lists and the High definition lakes. In the end you cannot go wrong using a lakemaster Digital data chip.
