Was fishing the head of the lake on 4 today. Awesome day weather wise. The Fish were not cooperating with us very much. But the best part of the day was one of the {up towner boat’s} was running way over by the rail road tracks. He is running at a good speed, up on plane. My buddy and I look at each other and wonder if he knows how shallow it is. Then you can see him start to slow down and he came to a very fast stop. We could see him with binoculars. He was ankle deep walking around his boat. Hope he didn’t wreck anything to bad. But for us who get big wake from their boats
It sure was funny . That topped off my day

I seen a 30ty footer one time up and a dry sandbar that looed like it had been there a few days. The water was higher about a week earlier so they must have beached it then. I know it would have taken a tug to pull it off and was probably 150′ from water where a tug could get in close enough. They must think because its the Mississippi theres deep water everywhere, not good or safe. One of the first things I learned was to know the water befor you go there.
