    Very Weird indeed. I spoke to someone in their Arkansas plant where their John boats are made and he believes ( no confirmation from the Min plant) they got a batch of wood that somehow was contaminated with something and it caused a reaction. Normal wood even if it was retaining moisture would do that to aluminum.

    Thanks for the info Ken. I will call you. Hate to think I have to send my boat back to Minnesota. I live in Louisiana. Will try to attach a few photos.
