i recently purchased a 1975 lund boat w/factory console steering. is there any vintage value to an old boat? I would like to dismantale the sterring & turn it into a tiller but do not know if there is future vintage value.
Not a 1975 year model. Maybe older, but even then, not many aluminum boats have vintage value like old wood or glass boat. I’d go ahead and set it up for a tiller!
Gee your makin me feel bad. I’ve got a 1978 Lund S-16 tiller type and figured it was just getting out of the new boat break-in period. I agree I don’t think their will be any vintage value on a aluminum boat.
