There’s this guy who jogs by my house everyday. He wears grey sweats, a grey sweatshirt, and a baseball cap. He has long hair and he used to have a long beard. Everytime I see him I want to yell “Run Forest! Run!” I haven’t yet; but man its getting tempting. Am I mean?

No, mean is my grandfather who used to shake the dinner table when the overweight people walked by. He was not exactly a twig himself.

I could ask the same question. Yesterday my work cell phone (left in truck overnight) showed a call at 0130 from a number I didn’t know, so I called it back…….at 0645. It was a very hung over and sleepy sounding woman. I asked her who she was, she said “Shhhaaarrron”, then asked who I was, I replied, “you tell me, you called me at 0130” She was silent for a few moments then replied that she might have called a wrong number on the way home from the bar. I laughed and said, “Ok, Well you have a great day!” in the loudest most cheerful voice I could muster, and hung up.

Ok…I can jump in on this too.

This summer going through L&D #3 my clients and I got stuck between 3 barges. It was going to take over 4 hours before we could lock through…remember this is at 1 AM.

The lock operator (Karen) asked the barge Captain’s if it was ok to lock us through first…and they did.

I brought her a box of chocolates the next day…

Was it mean of me not to have some candy ready to give the barge Captains that waited for me to lock down????

Oh you nailed me! I don’t do it because the guy runs everyday and is in much better shape than I am. He’d kick my

And, no Ron, we will still hunt pheasants!

And Brian, Life is like a lock and dam. You never know who you’ll get stuck inside with…………..

I would say Run Forest, Run would be safer than yelling, Shave and a hair cut, 2 bits

I’ve decided if I ever get the chance I’m gonna talk to the guy. I have a notion that he might be an undercover narcotics cop or something like that. It makes sense. He has to stay in shape and look like a deadhead at the same time. That would explain the Forrest Gump look…….. Or he might just be a loon.
